Poster on STOP WILDLIFE TRADE & CONSUMPTION TO STOP PANDEMICS (English)

Illegal wildlife trade has been devastating for wildlife and human communities around the world. Increasing demand for wild animals and their body parts threatens hundreds of species such as tigers, pangolins, and sharks. Wildlife trade also brings many species of wild animals into close contact with humans creating an opportunity for the transmission of zoonotic diseases like COVID-19. A zoonotic disease is caused by germs that spread between animals and people. In order to increase public awareness about the linkage of wildlife trade and consumption to zoonotic diseases, Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Bangladesh has developed a poster for displaying in different government offices and hospitals.
