Ganges River dolphin

Ganges River dolphins are an evolutionarily ancient species threatened with extinction in the near future in the absence of conservation action. Waterways of the Sundarbans mangrove forest in Bangladesh support priority habitat for Ganges River dolphins and have been the focus of WCS Bangladesh’s efforts to save this extraordinary species.
