A dolphin mortality monitoring network maintained by WCS Bangladesh collect information about the cause of death, number and distribution of dolphin and porpoise mortalities needed for developing effective conservation strategies. The network also gives us a presence in local communities for engaging them in dolphin conservation and encouraging sustainable fisheries.
